What is FURQAN ?

It comes from the Arabic root “farq,” which means “to separate” or “to distinguish.” Thus, “Furqan” is often understood to refer to a criterion or standard that distinguishes between truth and falsehood, or right and wrong.
2. Distinction or Criterion: The term “Furqan” is used to signify a criterion or a tool for distinguishing between truth and falsehood. It is sometimes used more broadly to denote any standard that separates the truth from untruth.
3. Specific Surah in the Qur’an: There’s a chapter in the Qur’an titled “Al-Furqan” (Chapter 25). This Surah emphasizes the characteristics of those who reject and those who accept the truth, describing the revelation as a guide to distinguish between the two.
